Vacationing Boston this weekend. HOLY Smokes!!!

I am vacationing in Boston this weekend, 4/11-13. As we were site seeing on the trolley we drove by Boston Commons. This is a several acre park that was established in the 1600's in the center of Boston City. I just about pissed myself thinking of me and my DFX in there, although I know its not allowed. One can dream though!!!

Cheer up...if you had your DFX out in the middle of Boston you;d probably get mugged and lose it and whatever you had found....
However I know what you mean...ALOT of choice historical real estate in and around Boston that is totally off limits to detecting...
You;d think some of the historical socities would pressure some to be allowed to collect the aritfacts for their museums....but we all know how politics work...

I'm just a little outside of Boston in Arlington, and we have lots of historical areas here that can't be dug, either. I drive by the site of the battle of Lexington twice a week going to school, and drool a little each time...lol. We're lucky in Arlington in that any town owned land is fair game, so we've got lots of parks and ponds we can dig around.
