Vanguish 540 vs 600/700?

Hey there all.
I am in the market for a new detector.
I see that the 600/700 lack 20kz and 40kz. Yet the 540 has those frequencies.
Is the Vanquish just as capable as the 600/700? Or would the 600/700 be a better machine all around.

Primary hunting would be 70%coin /30% relics

BTW, I’ve been swinging a White‘s MXT for the last 12 years.
I was primarily a relic hunter, but now I’m just in it for the hobby.
Haven’t been out much in the last 3-4 years. Just wanting to get back out there again.

The 600 and 700 both use 20kz and 40kz when in Multi-frequency modes. They just can't be set to those two when used in single frequency mode. Having owned all 3 units mentioned, they have pretty much the same performance in finding targets. The main difference being the amount of adjustability available. Personally, after 50+ years in the hobby, I preferred the simplicity of the 540, but that's just me...

I have a 540 and what sold me was how simple it is to use and the weight ,only 2 pounds also how accurate It preforms , flat gets the job done on targets . this 540 was a no brainer for me .. love the machine. I use to own an equinox 800 which I liked. The 540 is the younger brother to the nox 800 . They're neck to neck on targets .
