Went through my first box of halves in a few weeks over the weekend. Came away with 1 silver, 1 clad proof, 1 Costa Rican coin, and 1 yet to be determined coin. I believe it's a Greek coin, but I'm not positive. Can anyone give any info about the foreign coins? Thanks!

The Greek coin is 75% copper, 25% nickel. Mintage of about 20 million if I recall correctly. Not a rare date, but might sell for a buck or two as a curiosity.

Values:

1998 Costa Rican 100 colones: XF or below-$0.19 (exchange value) UNC-$4.50
1959 Greek 10 drachmai (made of nickel, not copper-nickel): F-$0.30 VF- $0.50 XF-$2 UNC-$16 BU-$50 Proof-$2000

I posted the values for all conditions in case you will need them at some point or are just curious.

Thank you for your help, Sag. I suppose I'll just hang onto them for now, since I bought them for .50 a piece.
