Various Finds from Trip to Penna

[M-Squared]

Spent a total of 9.0H metal detecting during a 10-day visit to Southeastern Pennsylvania (Family Reunion).

Dig Site 1:

Spent 3.0H at an 1863 dated cemetery. Saw some nice white tail deer and an eerie sunken grave which had collapsed under the tombstone. (Wish I had brought my camera on that trip!)

Dig Site 2:

Spent 3.0H at the perimeter of a University campus which was founded in 1742. (Couldn't tolerate the gnats, bugs and high humidity!)

Dig Site 3:

Spent 3.0H Private yard (Pics included)

In summary... 28 coins (6 wheat including a 1912), two silver) and some early dated cars... Sterling silver hoop earring found eyeballed by Mrs. M-Squared (2nd piece of silver this month) at LAX terminal.

Looks like you had a nice time digging. That grave would have spooked me too. Nice pictures. That is a beautiful stone house, sad to see it covered up. It looks like that one horse was posing for his picture. Great pics and some nice older finds, especially the old cars. Hope you had a safe trip.

I refuse to believe that the entire state has been hunted out! Perhaps it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain quality finds at local schools and parks. Our last frontiers might well be private yards and demos.

We took so many pictures that I had to purchase a 2GB SDRAM card for my Canon 6.0MP digital camera.
