VDB & 1909 Pennies---- What are they worth to you?

My coin club has monthly meetings. We trade sell buy etc from old timers and the rest.
Usually some very reasonable deals!
On sale is a roll of 1909 pennies for $80. bucks!
Also on sale is 1909 VDB pennies for $125. bucks!
Mind you they are (very) circulated and no one made a counter offer.
Just like to get a poll and opinion! From y'all!
thanks

I try to buy better grades. They seem to do better. For the $125.00 you should be able to get five b.u red 1909vdbs.

If I did either, I would only get the VDB roll (depending on how ciruclated).

If they are reasonable G-4 and above....they are listed at $15 each..you'd be getting them at $2.50 each...

now I don't know how many sell at $15 each....but since it was a 1 year type (the VDB part), it's bound to increase more than the normal 1909.

Depending on your purpose for the purchase...
