Vector maps

I have some maps drawn on paper and want to make them in vector graphics. I mean like outline maps. Example:

Is it to hard to make such maps? What software should I use?

Download the SVG from that website. SVG are Scalable Vector Graphics.

It's a vector file. You asked for a vector file.

Vector files can be used for a lot of things. If you need more specific information about what you might do with a vector file please share what outcome you want. I'd be happy to direct you from there.
