Vero Beach Not Very Productive

I would love to hear from someone who detects in Vero. I spent two days in Vero of Friday and Saturday. I hit the beach a few hours before low tide. I was surprised at how clean the beach was. I used my Excal II and hit the beach each day for about six hours. I worked the beach from the Holiday Inn south for about a half mile and all the way North to the pier. There were a lot tourist on the beach. All I found was a lot of ship wreck nails and a few clad. I would like to hear from anyone who has been there lately and see if they agree.

Was there the 11th through the 13th to give it a try. At the Surf club. Not impressed at all. About 63 cents in clad. Surprisingly not much trash. The sand is crappier than the west coast. lol. There are daily mders on the beach. Went to the west coast and scored better, more tourists and trash. But, so much better all around. Doubt if I'll ever go back to the the east coast.

Those beaches are by far... the most metal detected in the world.
I don't think another beach anywhere comes close.

And after a storm... hundreds upon hundreds of people
flock to ALL east coast beaches...
You have never seen so many people detecting in one place... after place.

So... Needless to say...
The east coast is the cleanest coast in the U.S. and probably the world.
Period.

Oh... but I forgot to add...
Many life changing discoveries...
In fact the most REAL treasure ever found on any beaches...
ARE the east coast beaches...
After a major storm IS when to go...
but things are found all the time...
It does produce... and sometimes very well.
You gotta be in the right place at the right time...
Those beaches are a whole lotta boredom for hits...
but a good hit on the east coast beaches blows away what any other beach can ...
And a really good hit in Vero... can change your life.

Do some searches on treasure coast beach finds... gold ones. heh

Definitely clean beaches AARC. We went there because of the chance of a great find. I find it completely wrong for someones shipwreck claim to go as far as the shore. jmo The fill they are replacing on the beach north of Vero might as well be cement. I couldn't believe that they would put that at a park. :coffee2:
