Perhaps any military buffs could help ID a time on this find. While detecting an old stagecoach area, I found a small dogtag, approximately one and a half inches in height, smaller than todays military style dogtags. It has the Lord's Prayer written on one side and it's blank on the other. In the same hole were the two bullets and they were down about six inches deep. I could find nothing online about this type of dogtag or how old it is, but given how corroded the bullets are, they have been down there a while. I also found the token on the same trip as well. It is from an automotive store that used to be in Ionia, MI. As you can see, the soil on this property is not kind to metal :(

Cool finds.
That dogtag is pretty unique. I've never seen one like that.
Looks like the fertilizer's really eating up the aluminum.

Lord's Prayer dogtag. Pretty cool!

You can buy them on-line - along with MANY other types of prayer dogtags. Yours appears to have a few years on it...

Nice digs.

Your auto tag looks a little like the motor bicycle tag I found this past weekend.
