Went out tonight to do a hunt in my local town at a old Park, this park dates back to the mid to late 1800's or so.. Found a couple wheats(39 and 42) right off the get go, Then this Rang up as a 12-30 on the CTX.. I dug it up and it was tacoed real bad. Not round at all.. At first sight thought it was Aluminum, Picked it up and it was heavy. I knew it was something else.
Very soft. was able to bend it back into shape with minimal effort of a wooden dowl. Got out the acid test kit and holy smokes it is silver, Confirmed it with 18k gold acid turning it blue.. So 2 tests say silver. After doing some reading if it is able to be bent so easy it is more than likely pure silver. Never had any silver like this
This was within 3 feet of the wheats but about 3 inches lower in hard rocky soil
