Vibraprobe 560 going crazy!!!!Please help

Mine did that and then totally died. I did not try to get it fixed. Let me know if you do or if they can be repaired.

My 560 did that too, so I bought a 570 instead and love it.
My 560 would start vibrating and wouldn't stop sometimes. The rubber plug that fits on top of the battery and is tightened by the knob doesn't seem to seal as well on the 560 I found. The plug on mine would push down into the hole too far, wouldn't tighten enough, and I thought maybe due to the pressure being put on the battery the wiring may be shorting out. :icon_scratch: What I started doing was wedging something (small piece of cardboard or toothpick) between the rubber plug and the opening. That way as you turned the knob to tighten it, the plug wouldn't go down so far into the opening, therefore staying off the battery.
It worked for me, and it still works today. I gave that 560 to someone, when I bought the 570.
