After spending 5 hours in the woods,this sporting buckle was my only find of the day.
Interesting to say the least,looks like there’s a ball in the middle
surrounded by several smaller cricket balls.
Since cricket is mostly unknown in Canada,I imagine this is probably British in origin.
Age wise I’m guessing late 19 th century?

Being a Brit I would say the ball in the middle is a "rugby" ball, but that is a beauty find.....HH....Bonz

Very interesting item! If the integrity of the buckle is good I would totally wear that.
