i found this a while ago thought it was junk ring and threw it in with the look at later bin stuff well i cleaned it up today and although its not gold its not junk either.it's hard to make it out but thats a 92.5 stamp in the one pic and i tried to show the stone as best i could i dont have a loupe but with my mag.glass i couldnt see air bubbles so im thinking some kind of gem and it looks to be victoriananyone have any ideas thanks for looking

You got me, geo,

I can't see any bubbles from here in the cheap seats. Looks like it could be Aventurine, Nephrite, or something else again. Emeralds are seldom set in silver. That looks like it would be 3 something ct.

Maybe jade? If I were to guess, I'd say 1970's. Does anyone know when they started stamping silver?

they started stamping in 1906 or 1908
