Victorian sash buckle? hunt with HEAVYMETALNUT

Had a great time hunting with Dave, Im primarily a beach hunter , yup , thats an excal 2 in my hand in the celler hole pic in his post ! (kinda like bringing a knife 2 a gunfight!) The excal nulled so much on the square nails , I almost threw in the towel ! Glad I didnt , while Dave was scoring buttons and copper , I found this little trinket .
Oddly , the big iron targets were ringing up as beautiful targets, no matter what settings I had the excal on , I ended up digging an old cloths iron and an axe head thinking they were coins ! Had a lot of fun on my first cellar hole hunt !!
