Victrolas!!

Well, not a garage sale but an estate auction.....low attendance due to inclement weather.....

Seller offered 6 old phonograph players, I was the only one that bid on them!? I only wanted one and bought it for $200.? The seller approached me later and made me a package deal.? All six players, 50 diamond disk records, 300 78 rpm records (needle type) and 300 78 rpm records (electric stylus) and an uncounted number of 33's and 45's for $1,000.? Two of the 33's are Elvis albums!

Oh yeah, I bought it all!? I think the Victrola VV 7-30 is quite rare.? The record collection may be worth $1,000. One of the Victrola's (not pictured) is a Baby Camel Back, only about 55,000 made with a model number in the 16,000's.

Beautiful machines... I found a Victrola Credenza 19922, similar to your second pic, I think, in a trash pile. Unfortunately, it sat in the rain too long. I was able to salvage one new phono needle in original package, and about 50 old rusty needles in a round copper container. If interested e-mail me. cypresshunter.

I found a metal plate from a Victrola in the storage shed on the property I bought a couple of years ago.

Asked the lady who sold it to me about it, and she said the cabinet had rotted away (Tennessee can be murderously humid at times) and that she and her husband donated it to the burn pile.

What I did though was use some double-backed tape to stick it to the front of my Pioneer receiver!



The VV 7-30 model MUST be rare....I can't find it listed on that site anywhere! But the guy who runs the site would surely be the person to ask about them.
