Video from yesterday's 9 silver hunt!

Unfortunately I did not get any full digs on my silver, most of them I did not expect them to be silver.

the barber quarter was 2" deep, so I thought I was digging clad.
The merc was in a area of bare dirt where a bush was removed...one inch deep
rosies were only 3-4" deep, once again I thought they were clad.
the sterling ring was JUST under the grass, not even completely buried yet. Thought it was a clad quarter. Only full dig I captured was Dan's silver quarter. But you can see the houses I hunted, the yards, back yard etc.....thanks for checking it out! :hello2:

You have an interesting disc pattern on your E-trac. Can you explain it?

I don't believe you saw mine in the video....only one I believe you saw in the video was Dan's when he dug the silver quarter. Here is mine. I started with the minelab coin mode and opened it up a LOT for nickels. took ferrous line down to 18

Interesting. I have the top area disc'd out (1-30 is). I find it nearly impossible to detect with that open as it picks up so many hot-rocks and I've yet to get anything good in that range. I also have everything in green open. Half my buttons come in that range, especially deep ones. Also, a lot of musketballs too.

if I am in a field, I use TTF with the relic screen 98% open.

Do you suggest opening the top around 1-30? I don't even know what kind of items come in at that range.

yes I used to disc that line out, but I heard of people digging coins on the 01 line and opened mine up too. Since then I have dug probably 15 indians that came in at 01-31, and even DEEP nickels at 01-12
