Went to an old ball field yesterday, I’d been to it many times before with my Maticore with the M9 coil. Found plenty of shallow clad and junk jewelry.
Put the M11 and hit it again yesterday.
All the wheaties, indian head, buffalo, sterling handle piece and silver quarter came out 9-10” depth.
I think they were just out of reach for the M9.
Heading back in a few minutes to see if I can squeeze anymore silver out of the ground

Congrats on the great finds and good luck on the return hunts ! :icon_thumleft:

I was told that the diameter of the Coil is also how deep it would hit a target.
Looks like you proved that theory to be correct.

Went back, and did better this time, 1887 seated dime!
The crescent moon and bird pin have a cool backstory.
