Well not really 10k :BangHead: . When I dug it up at a local school it looked great in the plug ! It turned out to be marked 10K GOLD FILLED :laughing7: . It looks just like a class ring , very cool ! I believe it's from the late 1960's or early 70's . It's the first Scouting ring of any type that I have found in 16 + years  . The other ring I thought was silver , but it's just plated . They are numbers 79 & 80 for the year . The other good find was a 1958D wheat cent . The total clad found for two hours was $9.94 .

Ya know, I still find it kind of funny. That something from the 1960's could be considered vintage. ;) They are and I'm showing my age but still. LOL

A couple of very nice finds and I just bet they were fun to uncover. That first glimpse is soooo wonderful!

HH!

I guess I'm vintage since I was born in the 60's :laughing7:

It was a +83 . When I saw the ring and it looked gold it made no sense to me . +83 would be silver . I guess it must have some copper & silver in it ?

Nice ring. I dug a gold filled wide wedding band and it came up as 74 on my MXT.

Hi Pla8man 8-) Nice digs there that GS ring is rather pretty :treasurechest: Wonder if it might be a collectible. Congrats on the nice finds, what is the coin like item with the foot prints?

Ive found and seen all kinds of silver girlscout and boy scout ones

That is a unique GS ring, even special! I found them on ebay, the 'stone' is glass but as I was involved with Girl Scouts as a troop co-leader I'd never seen one before. Great hunt you had.....................63bkpkr
