The old house site has a slope that was used for a dumping area. Found this bakelite cover which although obviously centre cap for a horn yet any idea as to its age. Also close by sticking out of the earth and tough to miss a beautiful early tail light. Not sure if the two finds are connected.

the tail light lens looks like it could possibly be from a model T kerosene tail light

Looks like Horn's Standard made some weird medical devices, as well as shoe stretchers. Wonder if....:dontknow:

Yes sure looks possible to be off an early Ford Model T lantern-see picture. model-t-ford-kerosene-tail-lamp-tail-light-jno-w-brown-1916-to-1923_201423592381.webp

Sorry, but isn't funny what someone rolled down a hill as garbage years ago now has the attention of many people trying to figure out what it was! This is a neat hobby, and what others find is just as much as fun as what's found on our own.

Your horn button, is not a horn button, but as Creskol mentioned it a part of a medical device, namely a "truss" or for lack of a better term a girdle, in this case the hard rubber (not Bakelite) disk or disks would be attached to an elastic band and was worn around the body with the disk or some times two disks positioned over a hernia/s, hernias even today are very hard to repair and were almost impossible to repair way back when, this device was designed to help hold the the hernia in place once pushed back through the muscle.

1932 Catalog Horn's Standard Trusses / Abdominal Support / Surgical Appliances | What's it worth

The Horn company made many different types of medical devices.
