I went to a barn sale last weekend . I bought the John Deere for $35.00 . The lady said that it needed a lot of work because it had been "sittin" with the old gas in it for 5 years . After 2 cans of carb cleaner , new fuel line , fresh battery - it guns great ! I just mowed our lawn , plus the neighbors . The orange and white rider is a Rugg . I got it for $20 at an Estate auction . It took a little tinkering and now it runs like a Deere ! They were both built in 1967 .

Nice Deere mojjax, definitely got a deal there...horsepower?
The Deere is a 6 hp tecumseh . I bought a carburator kit at the local lawn mower dealer , he had to get out microfilm slides to find the correct one . It is running great , so i'm not going to mess with it at this point . I'll probably re-do the carb next spring .
