vintage mic logo?

this should hopefully be a quick one, but anybody know the maker's name for this logo on the element of the mic? appears to be a "W" ..I was thinking maybe a Turner mic? but can't find any Turner mics with that symbol/logo?

It is a turner mic ,the logo is upside down it is a M for midland radios it came with a midland ham radio.
