Vintage purse... cheap dress-up or priceless vintage?

Not really my area of expertise here!

Found this in a box of other random stuff. Appears to be lucite and old. That's about all I know!

Any idea what period it's from? No markings what-so-ever on it that I can find.

My grandmother had a needlepoint purse similar back in the 1950's .. that may be of that same period.

If you're asking is it collectible, you bet! Too bad it's not marked. Is that the gold confetti in the handle? Retro Chic, and appears in very good condition.

Yes, the handle is full of glitter as are the translucent sides of the purse!

Indeed 50s Lucite era. there's got to be a handful of collectors of items like these out there? Wasn't there some cool looking light up auto hood mascots and ornaments made with the use of Lucite?
