The Dayton Diggers had a CW Relic Hunt just south of Fredericksburg, Virginia this last weekend. None of us found a relic that could be traced to the civil war, although some relics and collectable bottles were found. I found bullet casings and shells, some rusty items of no significance and a 1928 wheat and 1938 merc. I've only hunted five times this year so this was my first silver of 2010. Thanks for looking

The trip had a lot of potential, but the best part was just getting away for a while and spending time with friends. Lots more pictures and details of the Virginia trip and hunt can be found here: http://www.daytondiggers.com/virginia-2010.html
