Virginia State Quarter some doubling

This Virginia state quarter has some doubling on the Y and some letters on the reverse side in the word Jamestown. Specially on the letter O. Pretty cool find!

Machine doubling in the first pic and the second pic looks like the Y took a hit making it appear as a double die. Sorry

Its not a double die though its caused by vibrating in the collar when being struck.

It's not a doubled die. It's mechanical doubling. There's no added value to this type.

I agree that the doubling on the "Y" in LIBERTY is machine Doubling! However, the doubling on the lettering in "Jamestown" looks a little more interesting but I can't make a determination from the pic. If you can take some better closeup and in-focus pics of the lettering in Jamestown, then we may be able to make a better assessment!

Here is some better photos of the word "Jamestown". You can make out some doubling on the letter S, W, O and the N the two 0's and the number 7 on the year 2007.

I am sorry to say but it is definitely Machine Doubling. The smushy look from Die Deterioration makes it appear to more but it is not.
