I really don't know what it is or how it got there, but it's kinda cool anyway for $.10

silver dime weighs 2.5 grams.
This token is 3.0 grams, so it is quite a bit heavier than a silver dime.

It's not a token, it's a .999 fine silver 1/10 oz round with an astrological theme. More pure silver than a silver dime contains.

I wonder is that didn't fall out of a bezel, that was part of a woman's necklace. I found a gold cross in a bag of dimes once. I thought it might of been a pendant, but there is no rough spot on the top of it, where the loop that attached it to a chain had been.
