$250 dime box 1:
1962
1944-d mercury

$250 dime box 2:
1963

$250 dime box 3:
skunk

$250 dime box 4:
1952-s
1957-d
Virgo token ??

I really don't know what it is or how it got there, but it's kinda cool anyway for $.10

silver dime weighs 2.5 grams.
This token is 3.0 grams, so it is quite a bit heavier than a silver dime.

Obverse: Virgo
Reverse: Earth Sign, Methodical and Improving, Fine Silver 1/10 oz .999, Aug. 23 - Sep. 22

That is cool, first I've seen of a token of that sort out of a box. Sure beats out the plain ol rosie or merc!

It's not a token, it's a .999 fine silver 1/10 oz round with an astrological theme. More pure silver than a silver dime contains.

I wonder is that didn't fall out of a bezel, that was part of a woman's necklace. I found a gold cross in a bag of dimes once. I thought it might of been a pendant, but there is no rough spot on the top of it, where the loop that attached it to a chain had been. :dontknow:

Very cool find, and Virgo just happens to be my sign.
