I went off this morning after a restless night of "visions of rings, bracelets, necklaces etc" dancing in my dreams. I just KNEW I was going to do well today. I didn't find any rings, bracelets or necklaces but I did manage to find one small silver-looking locket. It is NOT silver but pretty anyway. No pictures inside. I found 2 metal buttons, I got my goal of 4 quarters plus for a total of $1.45 in clad and the usual junk. I found two more bottoms of light bulbs. I seem to find a lot of those here lately.

The locket is very small, about the size of a dime.

I had a great day. I hope yours was as good or better.

Mumzie, after that beautiful diamond ring you found..thats gonna be a tough act to follow...but the silver heart is very very pretty... I am so glad ya got out..I am just about ready to scream.. snow.. grrr.... then hubby used my truck...nother grrrr. so I am going stir crazy, at this point I will be glad to find a pull tab LOL...

I am happy you got out and had some fun! It was pretrty enough today but, alas with all I had to do I was only outside when I was riding a school bus! Any finds are great finds!

I know just what you mean. This hobby is very addicting especially once you start finding a few "good" things. Then when you can't get out - for whatever reason - it drives you nuts. I am soooooo glad I live down south where the weather (most of the time) is mild and we can hunt almost everyday. Just pay attention to where the snow plows are piling up the snow and hunt those areas when spring gets here. Who knows what you may find there!

congrats on the jewel Mumszie! I have not gotten out but once in about 2 months!!! can't wait to get to Florida again!
