VOC? Bell found

OK, all our VOC experts. Help out with the ID on this bell (no photos yet), We have excavated in our present shipwreck site a BELL made of Copper and has an Inscription "VAN TOMAS: ANTONIS ZAINT IAAR 1722 DEN 24 APRIL: TER GEDACT="

Cornelius, thanks for the info. defiantly does not seem to be a typical inscription for a ships bell. The bell was just recovered from a wreck in the Phillipeans, was thinking the ships name would be in the writing. Will post PIC as soon as I get it.
