I suppopse you are all familiar with this stuff,I got a fair bit when I dug some large ponds here in taupo..it was a main trade item by early maori and very sharp when split, they used to skin there dogs with it!! you see it in muesems here in new zealand most of it is jet black but some has grey veins running through it.cheers des
