Ok guys here is one of my favorite bottles I have dug. An early 1900s blown thief bottle which is pretty rare.

There were 2 variants in the dump i was digging in. The St. Louis MO one is actually pretty pricey. I dug around 5 of them and sold 2 for over 400$.

Here is a video of me digging them. I also got more bottle digging videos on my channel as well. Thanks guys.

Killer bottles. Nice when you can add to your collection and have extras to sell. Win, win!

Absolutely! I never sell any bottles I dig but only after digging quite a bit of them.

I'm lost, so drop some knowledge on me here. What is a "thief bottle"?

I too was curious why its called a thief bottle.....was it stolen?

As it is embossed......We pay for evidence convicting thieves for refilling our bottles...very cool indeed.

oh wow, never heard of that before. That would be a very cool varient indeed!

Great bottles, glad you could keep some and sell a few

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Texas drinking Dr Pepper. Hot Dr Pepper With lemon was their winter ad in the 60's. Wish I would have saved those bottles!
