Wagon Mound, New Mexico

Town of Wagon Mound, Located in New Mexico on the old Santa Fe trail. I stopped near the freeway and walked across the railroad tracks to check out this old town. People still live here, but all the business buildings looked vacant.

The boy is only native I saw in that town. Typical kid asking Who? What? Why? Where are you from?.......I never noticed how old that bike looks, til I looked at the picture later.

My Son is on a chess team and we go to Wagon Mound for one of his competitions. I was looking at the class pictures in the high school where the competition is held and the class pictures start in the 40's with a class of around fifty or something like that. Last years class had three graduating seniors.
