Are you guys MDers? I've been doing it for about 1 1/2 months now. So far my best finds are a very small 10K gold toe ring, a 1961 silver quarter, a 1943 Mercury dime, a 1953 Ford Motor Company token, and a whole mess of wheaties.

All of the above was found at Pontiac Lake state park.

I am dd found alot of new coins some old in port huron. Mostly been finding buckles
and buttons. I found a silver napkin holder near a well yesterday before the rain. Old old down about 8 inches. Love to find the set

I was out for a bike ride today and found a couple of places I want to detect at. I'll be sending letters out the the land owners in the next couple of days.

One of the places is an old, empty farmhouse with a couple of fields next to it. The other is an old small town train station, now used for something else.

Theres no place to hunt in Michigan. LOL I just got out in the water on Sunday and found my first ever gold coin. Even though it was in a Jewelry setting ,it still got a Holy #@!$%#@! out of me when it came up in the scoop. I have helped many people find spots in Michigan to hunt. All I can say is research is the key. Allot of luck helps too. let me know if you need some help.

That could be because most in michigan are so far from eachother, me personaly am from and around the romulus metro area, ive got lots of info and maps, and spots, just no one to team up with and a lack of equiptment at the moment due to theft of my last dtectors... but im always available for info or a hand if anyone is in need..

no more treasure in lansing, after i pulled up the ring. Its all gone so just get a new hobby for the next year or so ok.

Hay XD. I cut my teeth MD in Lansing. At Poter Park I kept finding old bullits. I did some research they had a riot there In the past. I have a good spot for you all. In down town Lansing is Church in the City. Pastor Elmer Cox's. I use to go there but never hit it real good with my MD. It is a old church. Go talk to Pastor Elmer he is a great guy.
