I felt that a cheery post title was in order for this find :p. I went out for a quick 20 minute go and found this beauty about 3-4 inches down. Thanks for looking!

I decided to try the area around a covered bridge in my college town (which I had previously visited with my Tracker IV) with my new XLT. I had quite a few trash hits beforehand, but soon enough I had a consistent VDI in the 90's coming up. The only other significant coin to pop up was a 1940 wheat penny, though I'm certain there's a couple more waiting to be found.

excellent. most beautiful coin ever.

I've been detecting 8 years and only found a Franklin.

Nice walker, I've been detecting for 14 yrs and have only clad halves, great find
