Walking on Water

I was on the river bank this afternoon and disturbed these ducks, I think they may have been babies too young to fly yet. They sure could move though, lighting was wrong and no time to make any adjustments, sorry for the quality of the photo but I like the wake they left. The other is the first "Mimosa Tree" I have seen in bloom this year. They are not native trees and are considered an invasive species, still they are one of my favorite trees because of the beautiful flowers they have.

I run across those 'young ducks' in the summer also, they sure can move. :P

I like the mimosa tree. They were introduced in the early days, and when you see one out in the woods in Oklahoma, that signals 'old home place'. They can spread like crazy, but they smell nice.

I have yet to see any bloom yet. Nice shots. On a side note I watched deer feed on them once. Very invasive though.
