I know there got to be someone out there looking for someone with similar interest to buddy around with. I'm new to metal detecting and I haven't quite spread my wings yet. I live in the Dallas/ Ft Worth area. I'm 65 and very active. I have been going out on my own but would like to partner up with someone with similar interest..

The best bet is to join one of the fine clubs around. There is one in Mesquite and one in Irving, Lone Star Treasure Hunters. Their website is lonestartreasure.com and meets the last Fri. of each month. Visitors and new members welcome. This Fri. the meeting is cancelled due to the 4th of July holiday, but will resume again the last Fri. in July. Good place to meet others with the same interest.
