Second day with the etrac. The Merc was only 4 inches down...1917-d. Also pulled my second war nickel...very happy with that.

The 'pin' says 'trot-moc club'. From what I gather it dates from around the turn of the century and was attached to a particular model of leather moccasins made by the ashby-crawford shoe company.

Other than that I pulled 4 wheats and $1.15 in beer money. Liking the etrac.

it's a double-edged sword. hundreds of coils have swept most of the ground around here (at least I like to tell myself that when i skunk out). luckily i'm still siked for modern silver...but i'm glad you have you're sort of sites where you hunt. i've pulled a seated from your neck of the woods...your turn to pull some urban treasure up here

Congrats on the silver and other finds

many thanks!

Im also glad you didnt get your coil over that seated half:laughing7:

Nicely done ,, I have nicknamed my E-trac, "The Monster "
It gave me 158 silver coins last year and 81 in 2014.
Although 13-13 is a nickel signal on the E-trac or CTX, any combination of numbers from 12-09 to 13-14 can turn up gold as well as nickels. My last War nickel came in at 12-14.
Congrats on a nice hunt

Congratulations on the silver! Really awesome fines. Happy hunting

Silver is always a great site in the hole!!! Nice saves!!

no doubt lol!!! i prolly would have passed it up for can slaw

No way anybody would pass up that signal. Even you. I was so sure it was a silver quarter or half that I cut like a 2 foot wide plug so as to not scratch it
