war nickels

please school me on these,are there large and small mint marks from the same mint,i read some are 35% silver?

All war nickels are 35% silver. They were minted from 1942 through 1945. All silver war nickels have a mint mark above the dome on the reverse. P, D or S. There are some 1942 nickels that are not silver. They will have no mint mark above the dome.
BTW, google is your friend. This info, I'm sure, is easily found on the web.
