here is another frame of points (albeit somewhat tacky) at the warther museum. worth the trip if you are in the area.

some more frames of artifacts on display. most of the museum is filled with beautifully hand carved train reproductions in exquisite detail. have any of you been there? i believe the artifacts were all found locally except for obsidian blade in the lower frame.

There is an Agriculture Museum in Jackson, MS. We stumbled into one building that is full of artifacts. Not displayed very well but there are thousands upon thousands just piled up on each other is displays cabinets. As I recall most if not all were found in Mississippi.

If I ever go there I'm drinking a gallon of water first, lol. I could look at those for days... :headbang: Most look like Ohio points except the two to the lower left of the Clovis in the "latrine" frame look like types from the Columbia River in Oregon.

That's wild. It's amazing that no one has broken the glass and stolen a bunch of those out of the tray.

First time I've ever seen a place were you can see artifacts while relieving yourself. ;D

good point, srv. i hope they don't have cameras in there! actually, a friend of mine did find an arrowhead while relieving himself on a nearby golf course!

Hey Mickey, ever heard of somebody teeing off and spotting
the groove of an axe in the ground. I was told it was pretty nice.
I think his ex-wife sold it.
