Been doing a whole lot of detecting lately but no stories to share. So I'm at the bank yesterday and one teller had saved some customer rolled coins for me. They know I'm a coin collector and hold stuff for me. She gave me 10 rolls of nickels. It was raining this morning and I thought I'd check the rolls. When I opened the first roll I noticed that there were no shiny new coins. All 40's, 50's and 60's. Second roll had one no date Buffalo and 43-P Silver. I was already happy with that. Third roll had (3) 43-P's. Fourth roll had (10) mixed date Silvers. The next (5) rolls had no Silvers but still all early dates. The last roll had (13) Silvers mixed dates! There were a total of (2) 42-P, (2) 42-S, (10) 43-P, (2) 43-S, (4) 44-P, (1) 44-S, (1) 44-D, (3) 45-P, (1) 45-S and (1) 45-D. A total of (27) coins but no 43-D. So one coin short of a complete set. Goes to show ya there's little treasures floating around out there............
Good Luck Out There
