Was This A Marble

Did I almost find the grand daddy of marbles or was this a broke off piece of pottery or something?I didn't think marbles were hollow.

I agree it's not a marble.
I should have taken a pic with that blue/white pattern laying in the dirt partially exposed.When I first saw it I really thought I had a sweet marble,my heart skipped a beat.lol
This was the dump site we found well over a 100 marbles,probably close to 150.
