Watched them band the Eaglets today,just awesome those birds are.

Am I glad I went down the Meadows today and got to see how it's done.That yellow pole is a slingshot,they shoot a line up and over a limb close to the nest,then they pull the climbing rope back over.



Kurt,on the left is gearing up for the climb.Nice fellow,EX paratrooper,and He loves His guns.





Waiting for Him to lower the chicks down I got a couple more shots.





Mama and Papa just kept circling around.





The guy on the left has been doing this for 27 years instructs this guy exactly how to hold it,His first banding.






Didn't get their names,I told this guy He reminds me of Mr. Palmer on NCIS.





In the bag to go back home.



Am I glad I went down the Meadows today,heh..already said that,I'm still glad.
