Waterproof Worthy?

I bought the Equinox 900 and am very pleased with it and mainly hunt dry and wet sand. I was wondering if anyone who has a 900 has used it underwater, or is it safe. It supposedly is supposed to be safe up to 16ft. Just wondering due to previous leakage problems with the other models such as the Equinox 800? Thanks in advance!

You might consider posting your question on MINELAB > EQUINOX 900 for more exposure...

Best way to find out is try it. But that is just my opinion. It should still be under warranty if it drowns send it in for a replacement.
