A hello from Indiana!
I've been matal detecting since 1974!
Yes, I'm getting older but still love the hobby!
I've had the privilege of being introduced to coin hunting with the bfo detectors of the 1970's
Ran several brands of TR's and the vlf's of whites in the 1980's
Enough silver finds in those days to pay for upgrades to my detectors
At least four times..(when silver in the mid '80's was pretty high price)
I enjoy mostly land coin/jewelry hunting, water hunt when possible.
The typical old house sites, camp grounds, fair grounds, parks, schools.
Metal detecting doesn't seem near as popular around my area as it was in the early 1980's
Which is kinda nice really....more elbow room to hunt!
I currently use a Garrett AT Pro for my main machine
My back up is a trusty Whites 6000di pro. Thats still finds pretty good coins.
Thanks for reading my intro. And as always........
Happy Hunting!
