However, this is my primary mode of transportation to and from the beach as well as work. Bought this little scooter almost 4 years ago. Salt air and sun has taken it's toll. I'm mechanically inept, however this went off without a hitch. No lost screws, no cracked plastic, just crazy.

Replacing the plastic is expensive. Plastic is mostly cosmetic. Just armorall the heck out of it. Spend $ keeping the mechanicals serviced.

They sell at walmart the plastic headlite repair kits. All they are is a fine polish..I just did my honds n my GF's...it will last about 6 months then you have to do it again....should clear up that chalky colored semi clear plastic.

great rehab! Love the scooters for around town...pulled this out of a garbage pile and returned to service a few years ago...
