I know what you mean, Ray. I just checked my report at 5:00 and it's 100. I can't keep up with the heat index, looking for some kind of relief...rain, maybe? The next couple of days will be per weather channel, 101 - 104 till Friday. The grass is scorched, the ground like cement. Got the cattle in the woods where it is cooler and there is grass growing in the swamps. Outside ceiling fans are running 24/7 with extras to keep the dogs cooler.

No detecting what so ever. A reminder to everyone keep plenty of water with you at all times if outside. Even if going somewhere by vehicle...keep water handy, never know when there's a breakdown on the road and you're stuck traffic a long time. Better to be safe than sorry.

 RR

Yes that what I though also. So my other half got me to put and new roof. I did half of it this week end. I got burn some and I am sore. Don't know when I will do the other half. Maybe sometime in Oct when it is cooler. Or maybe next year before it gets to hot.....Matt

It is well into the 100's here and no rain in sight which makes the clay here rock hard...I won't be doing much detecting until it either cools off or we get some soaking rains. Time to do some research I guess.

9:40pm here an still 101 I know the feeling.

It's hot all over the South. It's been 100+ here on the Texas Gulf Coast for the past three days but today it rained hard for about 20 minutes straight and the temp dropped to 74 degrees, felt great. Hopefully July won't be as hot. HH
