Hello all,

I mostly post just the silver I find but... I like most every treasure hunter dig trash too. Here have a look... (Remember this is from one 3 hour hunt at a homesite.)

Oh its cookie cutter and a salt top. Now how the heck did you figure out it was a salt top. Wow everyone thanks, I did not know everyone was so fond of wheat's. Captn_SE, the silver from this site was in 2 posts ago. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,183971.0.html Not sure how much a box of Wheaties was in 1944. Like a quarter maybe....

Well Mud it was like this, the first time I found one was in my parents yard, it looked like a metal butterfly! I thought it might be some kind of Crackerjack prize, well I have found a few over the years, then one day my wife brings home a new container of salt and asks me to fill the shaker! I use my nail to cut the seal over the new spout then I pull it open, but I open it to far and hey what do you know eureaka a metal butterfly and that is how I solved that riddle!!!!

Now that looks like my last two hunts....the silver has elude me last week and I did not get a chance to go out this weekend. I'll have to get my fix this week.
