I think they mean the boxes are a spacer to hold the coil at the right height. That is the coil below the boxes, right? If so, isn't sitting it right next to a big metal cross beam going to be a problem?

The square beams appear to be carbon fiber, the gusset plates look like plastic. Carbon fiber is conductive but it's not an especially strong target and it's about where salt water is so a decent MF can notch it. If the bolts are stainless then they are probably OK. I hope the wheels are plastic.
