50 ish degrees, and itching i was to get out after the last 2 weeks of crud

first 2 hits in a school yard yielded the ring on the right and bottom
and after the school hit a small park next to a Church and got the left ctr ring.
a bit of silver and gold never hurts.

ring post after ring post probably gets old I know but I'm so excited I wanted to post
as I have never done so well before my new detector I'm just psyched.

Looks like a great haul, WTG!
What type of signals were you getting on the rings?, " Foil ", " Pull Tab ", " Nickle ", ???...
I dug a lot of different signals today, all I ended up with were pull tabs, :'(
I did find one silver quarter, but it was a good high-tone...

top left hit in the foil range a really weak signal

the top right rang in as a quarter

and the bottom ring hit as a dime

School bell, church bell, is that a ring I hear? Yep, 3 more down, many more to go. :D Great finds! HH

there are lots of rings storys here, BUT each is unique and has its own story. someday i'll have my own! keep them coming!...HH .....serb

If you get a chance could you post a close up of those rings they look great, but hard to see in the pic! Great finds today!

HH, Onion

best close up i can get
as the flash will not work in macro photo mode

2 of the rings are stamped 925 and the other has some funky inscription inside that i can not make out
i need to get a jewlers loop some time ..

Kinda odd, they all rang in at something different, huh?
I guess it would have something to do with the differnt shapes, and content ???
I guess I'll have to just keep plug'n away at all them signals...
Thanks for the info, and the close ups look great...

I have a CTR ring also. Mine is stamped SS (sterling silver). CTR stands for "Choose The Right". If I remember correctly itis sold by the Mormon Church. Do a Google search and type in CTR to find out more info. HH.

Thanks for the close up! The CTR rings seem to be common although I don't know what it means I have found several of the them.
