In this weeks video hunt we take you to an 1895 house permission and a late 1800's floating saloon site. Andrew and Virginia find TRADE TOKEN HEAVEN and pull a record number of old saloon trade tokens from the site. Silver coins, trade tokens, jewelry and relics are found... Excellent video! Very well produced.

The name of the saloon was not mentioned, but I'm curious why it was a 'floating saloon'? Any history you can provide?

Here in Virginia, back in the early part of the 20th century, saloons and businesses offering "games of chance" were built on piers over areas of the Chesapeake Bay because Virginia law stops at the low water mark and Maryland laws (which start at the water's edge) were friendlier to those sorts of establishments. There are places where some really cool stuff has come up from the bottom of the Bay over the years...
