Wednesday and Saturday Hunts

Wednesday afternoon I went to look the new field that I picked up last week. When I stopped at the office to tell them that I was going to look the owners wife told me that a man had moved across the road from the field and that he sometimes looked. You can imagine how deflating that was. When I got to the best area I found footprints on each row. I did however find three so-so points and a hatted scraper in another part of the field. The nice knife in the middle , the white point on the right side, and the point in the upper left corner were found Saturday in some fields in another county. A friend went with me and he found most of the best stuff. I don't have pictures of his finds.

Americus that's a good day in my book. I hate seeing footprints on my beach. I know for a fact that I'm the only one with legit permission to be on this property but I know others keep going there. The fisherman are the worse because they trash the place. Still you had some cool finds. That knife is awesome. Did you post in the who are you thread ?

I'm the friend that he was hunting with this weekend & I had a great time! Thanks again, Americus for taking me with you! BTW, So ya'll know, He needs to change his screen name to perhaps "Ole Hawk eye" Even a small sliver of flint or stone does not stand a chance of going unnoticed with this guy. This fellow knows his stuff.
