Camped last weekend at Hoffmaster SP and managed a bit of MDing. Found clad in the campground plus a bracelet and tiny ring at the main beach. Thought the ring was junk until closer inspection at home revealed a 925 on it. I'm guessing it is a toe ring because it's so bitty. Was surprised to find a few .22 shell casings on the public beach, part way up the dune. (Do these things follow me, or what?) But the sand and sunset were beauteous.....not used to hunting without all those iron signals.

Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice silver ring..Congrats on the finds.

Way to go Anne! I hit Pere Marquette Park a couple weeks ago and didn't find anything other than clad and not much of it. I was getting ready to leave & was sitting in my car & another detectorist got out of his van next to me and headed out to the beach so I'm guessing that PM is well detected. Congrats on the tiny silver!

Congrats on the silver! Nice finds.

Good luck,
HH.

Yes, this beach is hit pretty hard. I live in Muskegon, as I know of several regulars that hit all summer long.

My hats off to you for getting out this past weekend. And to be camping too takes the cake. I'll bet there wasn't very many other campers. It was one of the better weekends in a while. You weren't far from here. Do you ever hunt Holland state park?
