All Treasure Hunting
This is from both auctions this weekend. Got about half of all the railroad blueprints. Only got 3 cars. Most of the blueprints went choice so all the nice cars were taken for $10-15 each. Got the bottom of the pile that nobody searched for $0.50 each. Mostly train parts or logos and NKP lettering. Listed one on eBay to see if anyone's interested. Didn't get any of the railroad locks. There were a couple B&O railroad, but most were NKP locks. They all went $25-45 each. Wish I had bought a few now after looking up sold prices. Got some nice coins there too. The barber dime is really worn, but it appears to be 1895-P, a nice key date in any condition. A no date flying eagle and a handful of foreign for a few bucks too. A 1976 George Brett card, if only the centering was better would be worth so much more. There were 4 full books of stamps. 1 was US and the other 3 were world stamps. Didn't get the US stamps. Looked through it most appeared to be 1930s and newer. The 3 foreign stamp books are all in alphabetical order with at least 1 page of stamps from every country from 1890s-1990s. Probably close to a thousand or two in there. Spent 1-2 hours trying to look them up, but gave up half way through. Got a nice pile of records with some good titles. Most were all selling for $10-30 each. Got a nice Stanley No 5 plane, not pictured. Also got a large stack of 1910-1912 Kansas City Star newspapers, I think all front pages, and then 2 1898-1902 Kansas Geological Survey books. That's about all the cool stuff worth mentioning. Going to take a few days to get it sorted and listed. Thought I'd share the nice finds with you all, and thanks for the help on the railroad questions earlier this week.

If the stamps are mounted in one of those old sticky photo albums, I personally wouldn't waste one second looking them up. They probably need to be dropped into the trash can.
